SAT math average median mode
I need help with the following sat math question:
"The median of 5 integer observations is 24, the mode is 25, the lowest observation is 20, and the average is 23. Find all the observations."
Thanks!!

SAT math average median mode question
The median is the middle of a distribution, that means half the scores are above the median and half are below the median."The median of 5 integer observations is 24, the mode is 25, the lowest observation is 20, and the average is 23. Find all the observations."
The median is less sensitive to extreme scores than the mean and this makes it a better measure than the mean.
When there is an odd number of numbers, the median is simply the middle number.
When there is an even number of numbers, the median is the mean of the two middle numbers.
The mode is the value that occurs most frequently in a data set.
About your question we have the following information about the 5 integers
20-??- 24- ?? - ??
-- -- -- -- --
1 2 3 4 5
Since the mode is 25 the 4th and the 4th observation are 25 both.
20-??- 24-25-25
-- -- -- -- --
1 2 3 4 5
Since the mean(average) of the observations is 23
Let x be the 2nd observation then the average is given
average
Therefore, the five oservations are
20 21 24 25 25
